    Information Collected Through the Statr App

    When you use the Statr mobile application, we may collect information necessary to provide Statr's sports research and analysis features.

    This may include:

    • Account information, such as your name, email address, account identifier, and authentication information.
    • Content you submit to Statr, including sports-related questions, prompts, matchup requests, bet or parlay information, and other text you enter into the app.
    • Images and screenshots you choose to upload or capture, including screenshots of bet slips, parlays, matchups, or other sports-related content.
    • Analysis and conversation history that you choose to save or that is associated with your account.
    • Subscription and purchase information, such as subscription status, product purchased, transaction identifiers, and entitlement information.
    • Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, identifiers used to operate the service, and diagnostic information.
    • App usage information, such as features used, interactions with the app, and information used to understand and improve Statr.

    We collect this information when you provide it directly, when you use Statr features, when your device communicates with our services, or when information is provided to us by service providers used to operate the app.

    Photos, Camera, and Uploaded Content

    Statr may allow you to select an image from your device or capture an image for analysis, such as a screenshot or photo of a bet slip or parlay.

    Statr accesses images only when you choose to provide them or otherwise authorize access through your device.

    Images you submit may be transmitted to our servers and service providers as necessary to analyze the content and provide the requested Statr features.

    Statr does not use photos or images submitted for sports analysis for advertising purposes.

    You can manage camera and photo permissions through your device settings.

    Artificial Intelligence and AI Service Providers

    Statr uses artificial intelligence services to provide sports research, analysis, explanations, and other features.

    When you submit information to an AI-powered Statr feature, the information necessary to complete your request may be transmitted to third-party artificial intelligence service providers, including OpenAI.

    Information processed may include the text of your questions or prompts, sports or betting information you provide, uploaded bet-slip images or screenshots, and relevant context needed to generate a response.

    These providers process information on our behalf for the purpose of providing and supporting Statr's features. We require service providers that receive user data to protect that information consistent with our privacy obligations and applicable requirements.

    We do not authorize third-party AI providers to use Statr user information for their own advertising purposes.

    Where required, Statr will request your permission before transmitting personal information to a third-party artificial intelligence provider.

    Third-Party Service Providers

    We use third-party service providers to operate, secure, maintain, and improve Statr.

    These providers may process information on our behalf only as necessary to perform services for us.

    These services may include cloud hosting and infrastructure, database and authentication services, artificial intelligence providers, analytics and diagnostic services, payment and subscription processing, communications providers, and customer support tools.

    Third parties that receive user information from Statr are required to provide protections consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy requirements.

    We do not sell personal information to third parties.

    Our third-party service providers may change as Statr develops. We will update this Privacy Policy when material changes affect how user information is collected, used, or shared.

    App Store Purchases and Subscriptions

    Purchases and subscriptions made through the Statr iOS application are processed by Apple through the App Store.

    Statr may receive information from Apple related to your purchase, such as the product purchased, transaction identifier, purchase or renewal date, subscription status, and entitlement information. This information may be associated with your Statr account to provide subscription features.

    Statr does not receive or store your full payment card number or other payment credentials used by Apple to process App Store transactions.

    Payment information provided directly through another Statr service, such as the Statr website, may be processed by the applicable payment processor in accordance with that provider's privacy practices.

    Data Retention and Deletion

    We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Statr, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce our agreements, and support legitimate business and security purposes.

    Account information may be retained while your account remains active.

    User content, including saved conversations, analyses, and uploaded content, may be retained in connection with your account so that features such as analysis history and continued conversations can function.

    When you delete your account or request deletion of your information, we will delete or de-identify personal information from our active systems unless we are required or permitted to retain certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or other legitimate purposes.

    Certain information may temporarily remain in encrypted backups or system logs until those backups or logs are overwritten or deleted in the normal course of our operations.

    You may request deletion of your personal information by using the account deletion feature provided in the Statr app or by contacting us at hello@statr.ai.

    Account Deletion

    If you create a Statr account, you may request deletion of your account and associated personal information.

    Account deletion may be initiated directly from within the Statr app using the account deletion option in your account settings.

    You may also contact us at hello@statr.ai with privacy-related questions or requests.

    Deleting the Statr app from your device does not automatically delete your Statr account or information stored on our systems.

    Consent and Device Permissions

    Certain Statr features may request access to device capabilities or information, such as your camera, photo library, or notifications.

    We request access only when it is relevant to a feature you choose to use. You may decline a permission, although the specific feature requiring that permission may not function.

    You can review or change device permissions at any time through the Settings application on your device.

    Where consent is the basis for collecting, using, or sharing information, you may withdraw that consent where applicable.

    Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.

    Tracking and Advertising

    Statr does not sell your personal information.

    Statr does not use information collected through the iOS app to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for targeted advertising or advertising measurement unless we first obtain any permission required by Apple and applicable law.

    If our practices change in a way that constitutes tracking under Apple's App Tracking Transparency requirements, we will request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before engaging in that tracking.

    Children's Privacy

    Statr is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

    If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected without appropriate authorization, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
